Our ideal candidate has commenced their CA or CPA qualification and has several years of experience in public practice. Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a public practice tax and exposure to advisory services
  • Demonstrated ability to display critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial Statements.
  • Knowledge of Tax & GST legislation, including Division 7A, CGT and trust distributions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage your time and work independently
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally

Supported by our Principals and in-house Marketing, as Director – Tax Consulting, you’ll be responsible for building and growing our technical tax offering. You’ll provide expert tax advice, support internal staff development, and drive business development across our network and beyond. You will also;

  • Grow the service offering through designing and implementing business development initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing to curate content for events and social media
  • Deliver high-level tax consulting services to clients and internal teams.

  • Demonstrated drive to reduce inconsistencies, risk, and errors in automation processes.
  • Ability to gather requirements, set priorities, and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making systems work smarter and faster.
  • Comfortable with scripting and working with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience connecting platforms such as ServiceM8, ServiceTitan, Xero, Power BI, Copilot, CRMs, IVRs, and more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop personalised financial plans across investments, retirement, insurance, and estate planning
  • Work with clients with complex financial arrangements including trusts, SMSFs, and cashflow modelling
  • Help grow and shape the Financial Planning division
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic advice
  • Build internal relationships to generate referrals across divisions
  • Source new clients through your personal and professional networks

What You Bring:

  • FASEA qualifications, RG146 compliance, and a degree in financial planning (or similar)
