Administration Assistant

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to provide support to the Tax & Advisory Business Units within the firm. You will:

  • Work closely with and support the Tax and Advisory teams
  • Liaise with the ATO and ASIC
  • Lodge Income Tax Returns
  • Set up and maintain client files
  • Register and de-register businesses
  • Action monthly invoicing
  • Monitor WIP for monthly invoicing processes
  • Prepare and collate tax documents and letters
  • Manage client queries

Paraplanner

In this dynamic role, you will be an important member of the Financial Planning Team to develop strategies for the firm’s clients. You will be required to complete all administrative matters for client meetings, including preparation of meeting papers and client presentations.

Key responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with an Advisor, develop strategies for the firm’s clients with emphasis on demonstrating value
  • Manage and prepare the delivery of SOAs
  • Preparation of Cashflow Projections
  • Build on and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge on financial planning issues

To be successful in this opportunity you will need to have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Paraplanning role
  • RG146 compliance or a Diploma of Financial Planning and/or a tertiary qualification in a finance discipline is preferred
  • Excellent technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • A strong focus on internal compliance requirements and current legislation
  • Passion for quality advice
  • Previous experience with XPLAN financial planning software to complete cashflow projections with minimal guidance
  • Have a broad knowledge of Insurance Cover
  • Knowledge of asset ownership structures
  • Knowledge of tax implications and technical strategies

Business Services Accountant

As an Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Associate Director and providing sound technical advice and support to team members.

Ideally you will:

  • Have at least four years Business Services Accounting experience to immediately add value to the firm’s clients and team
  • Already have gained exposure to complex clients which will help you to hit the ground running with the firm’s interesting and challenging client base
  • Have the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders from different teams in the firm
  • Be a Qualified Accountant or completing – CA/CPA
  • Have experience of reviewing work of team members
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude and a desire for more client interaction
